The account owner is the main person responsible for the overall management of the FastField account. Transferring account ownership can be useful when there's a change in personnel or when account management responsibilities need to shift.
How to Change the Account Owner
To ensure a secure transfer of account ownership to yourself or another user, we've implemented a verification process. To proceed safely, please reach out to our Support Team and choose 1 of these 3 verified methods for the transfer:
- Have the current listed account owner authorize the transfer.
- Have the listed billing contact authorize the transfer.
- Confirm the billing info on the account, including the full billing address, the last four digits of the card on file, and the card's expiration date.
Important Considerations
- New Owner Email: The email address of the new account owner must correspond to an existing user within your FastField account. If the new owner doesn't have an account, they must create one before the transfer.
- Permissions: Account ownership may only be transferred to an admin on the account. Make sure the new owner has the necessary role and permissions to manage the account effectively.
