Overview
You have the option to place date/time or text overlays on photos taken with both the Single and the Multi Photo fields. This can help provide you with useful context about the photos, as well as useful details for recordkeeping and authentication purposes.
*Note: This feature will only work for photos captured in the app and will not work with photos uploaded from your device.
How to Add a Date/Time or Text Overlay
1. Click on your desired photo field and then click the Photo Overlay button in the Settings panel on the right.
2. Enter the fieldkey of your text field that you wish to use as the overlay.
- In the example below alpha_1 is the basic text field we will be using as the overlay:
3. Let's also add a date/time stamp on the photo. To do this, simply click to highlight that option in the settings window.
4. On the app, be sure to enter your caption BEFORE taking your photo. If you enter the text after, the overlay will NOT display on your photos.
