Create Custom Form Statuses
To perform a workflow action based on a status change you will have already needed to set up a selection of statuses to choose from. Read more to learn how to set up a Form Status to get started.
Create Workflow Actions
Once you have your form and statuses created, we can add the workflow action. To begin, log into the Fastfield Portal and select Global Workflow in the side menu, and then click +New Workflow.
I am going to set up a workflow so that whenever a form status changes to "Fail" an email will be sent to the administrator.
First, name your workflow something that makes sense for you. Next, choose the form that this workflow action will apply to. You have the option to either choose an individual form or have this apply to all forms in your account. Next, create an action set to email the administrator. Keep in mind there are a variety of actions to choose from at this stage. Finally, set the condition so that when the status equals Fail the workflow will trigger.
