How To Set up Your Send to Quickbase Global Workflow Action to Send a Report
After setting up your QuickBase Integration, please follow the next steps to send up your Reports through a file attachment field with Quickbase:
- In the Portal, go to Workflow > Global Workflow > Workflow.
- Select + New Workflow and give it a name.
- Under When the following form is submitted, choose a specific form or select Any to apply this workflow action to all forms account-wide.
- Under Perform these actions, choose Send to Quickbase.
- You may either choose an existing or new Quickbase integration. If you have already authorized through the integrations tab, those integrations will be shown here.
- Enter your Quickbase App ID. There are two ways to find your App Id:

Pull from your URL:
- Log into Quickbase and select the app that you need to find the ID for.
- From the homepage, copy the characters in the URl after /db/

Through your settings menu:
- Open your Quickbase app and select the settings icon.
- Go to app management > Show Support Information.
- Corresponding App IDs will be shown in the dbid column.

Pull from your URL:
- Select an available table name via the dropdown list based on the App ID you entered from the step above.

Map out your form fields to your Quickbase table fields. Select the correlating file attachment field on Quickbase and click on Set Field…
- You will now be able to select the report to update your file attachment field table field. You can choose which report type you would like, such as PDF, Word, JSON, XML, Excel, or CSV.
If you have a related Quickbase Table Mapping available, you can also send a FastField report there as well! Just select on the + Add Related Quickbase Table Mapping button and follow the same steps as #7-9 .

Q: How do I find my Quickbase App ID?
A: You can find your Quickbase App ID by either pulling it from your URL or through the settings in Quickbase. For more detailed instructions, refer to step 6 in the setup section above.
Q: Can I send different types of reports?
A: Yes! You can choose the report type you like ot send to Quicbase. Options include PDF, Word, JSON, XML, Excel, or CSV.
Q: What if I need to send a report to a relate Quickbase table instead of the parent table?
A: If you have a relate Quickbase Table Mapping available, you can send a FastField report there as well. Use the + Add Related Quicbase Table Mapping button and follow the setup steps.
