Overview
An alert type refers to the color of a form field. This color helps the field stand out in your form and convey a certain meaning. Adding color to certain form fields also helps you create a more organized, visually appealing, and user-friendly form.
There are four alert types (form field colors) available in the Form Builder:
- Green - Success
- Blue - Info
- Yellow - Warning
- Red - Error
As shown above, each color has a name (Success, Info, Warning, Error) that represents a scenario in which the color might be used within your form.

How to Add an Alert Type (Field Color)
Field colors can be applied while building a form in the Form Builder:
- Select the field you would like to color.
- In the General Settings menu on the right, select Color.
- You will now see a drop-down menu, where you can select your desired alert type/color for that field.
- Once you select the color, just save and publish your form to update the in-app version of the form.
Limitations of Alert Types
- When you color a field, it ONLY affects the in-app experience. It does not change the color of the fields in the Form Builder, nor does it change the color of the field in the reports.
- The specific shades of the colors cannot be changed
