Overview
A repeating section is a section of a form that users can duplicate as many times as needed when filling out the form. This is useful for data collection that requires the same set of questions to be answered multiple times, such as in surveys, inspections and audits.
Any section can be turned into a repeating section in the Form Builder.
How to Enable Repeating Sections
- Highlight your desired section in the Form Builder and click the Edit button.
- Select Enable Repeating Sections.
- If you wish, you can also specify the maximum amount of times that section can be repeated.
*Note: Repeating Subforms and Repeating Sections are incompatible with each other. Therefore, we recommend not using both in the same form.
How to Repeat a Section in the App
If Repeating Sections has been enabled, a user who is filling out the form can tap the Add button to duplicate the section underneath the original.
