What are KPIs ?
KPIs, or Key Performance Indicators, are calculated values or metrics that help provide specific insight into your business' performance and health. KPIs vary depending on the industry, but examples include sales growth, total project cost, injury rate, equipment downtime rates, energy consumption, and any other metric needed to measure success toward a specific goal.
KPIs are necessary components in the Active Insight Monitoring system. You must create at least one KPI to enable an AIM Alert. KPI's can be tailored to your organization and are generated using your collected form data.
An example might be something like Total Safety Issues This Week, Average Defects Today, or even Total Sales by Department.Once a KPI is defined, they are evaluated by custom rules and alert you when a predefined threshold, target, or goal is met.
