How to Share Dashboards Internally
To share a dashboard with users or user groups within your FastField account:
- Go to Data & Analytics > Dashboards in the FastField Portal.
- Select the gear button in the top-right corner to access the Dashboard Options menu.
- Select Share to set up access for users or user groups within your account.
- Select Users or User Groups to grant access through the provided drop-down menus.
- Tip! Don't see the user group you want to internally share your dashboard with? You can create a new user group without leaving the page by selecting + New Group. Then, enter the name and description of your new user group and select Add.
- Select Apply to share your dashboard with your chosen internal user or user group.
How to Share Dashboards Externally
To share a dashboard with individuals outside your FastField account:
- Go to Data & Analytics > Dashboards in the FastField Portal.
- Select the gear button in the top-right corner to access the Dashboard Options menu.
- Select Share > External > + New External Dashboard.
- Provide a name for the dashboard and set up a password for external participants. Select Create to proceed.
- Under the Participants tab, enter the external participant's details.
- Select Send Invite when you're ready to share the dashboard externally.
- Under the Filters tab, configure your Filter Permissions to limit data based on specific criteria for external participants.
- You can filter data by date/user and control access to the + New Filter button.
- Create custom filters by selecting Add New Filter to Shared Dashboard.
- Tip: Use the Preview button to see what the dashboard will look like and how it will function for your external participant before sharing.
- Under the Activity tab, you'll be able to monitor dashboard activity, including participant names, actions taken, IP addresses, and access dates.
- Under the Settings tab, you can modify the external dashboard's name, edit the shared password, or delete the dashboard.
- Note: Deleted dashboards cannot be recovered.
