Overview
To get started with Lists (Global Lists or Lookup Lists), you can download a template file. These preset template files can be fully edited and customized to your list data. This way, you do not have to create a spreadsheet from scratch.
Utilizing Lists in FastField is a quick and easy way for you to auto-populate lists of data in your forms. Lists are great for things like inventory, vehicle fleets, invoices and more.
How to Download a List Template
To download a Global List or Lookup List template:
- Go to the List tab in the FastField Portal.
- Click on the New Lookup List or New Global List button on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- Select Download Template.
- Choose the list type and file type you wish to download.
After editing the file, you can then upload it as a New Lookup or Global List. Then, you're all set to embed it to your form in the Form Builder by adding the appropriate List field.
