Overview
The Upload Multiple Tasks function is a way to mass dispatch a single task. By uploading an Excel file that contains a list of users, you can dispatch a task form to them simultaneously.
This is useful when you have the same type of task that you want to assign to multiple workers (perhaps at different locations). Instead of dispatching the task to each worker individually, you can use Upload Multiple Tasks to streamline the process.
How to Upload Multiple Tasks
- Go to Form Sharing > Dispatch/Tasks in the Portal.
- Select the green + New Task button.
- Select Upload Multiple Tasks.
Details (Step 1 of 3)
-
- Form: Choose the form that you want to use for this task.
- Name: Enter a name for this task (e.g., Vehicle Inspection).
- Excel File: Upload an Excel file with your task recipients and any merge data.
-
-
- Make sure there are no empty rows between recipients, as processing will stop at the first empty row.
- Select Sample Excel File for a template and an example of the format.
-

Note: In the sample file, the fields in red are required. For your form's fields (in gray), make sure you type the field key as the column title.
Notification (Step 2 of 3): If you would like a notification to be sent to the recipient of this task, select the notification type from the dropdown menu under Type. Then, fill out the details of the message.
- If you would not like to send a notification, select None under Type.
Send (Step 3 of 3): When you're ready to dispatch the task to the multiple users on your uploaded Excel file, select Send Now. To make any changes, use the back arrow button.
