Memory Fields

Memory fields are a way to store data entered from a previous submission, and then populate that field's specific data when a new form instance is started.

It is important to note, that it will always populate the most recent data that was entered, which can change upon each time you fill out the form if you update the field.

Also, memory fields work locally on each device. This means that you will not be able to switch to a different device and still have memory field data from you last submission on your other device.

If you wish to have a set value in your field across all devices that does not change, then you will want to use "Default Value"

To enable a memory field, you simply check the memory field checkbox in the field options panel of your desired field.

The supported field types for memory fields are:

• Text

• Numeric

• Formatted Numeric

• List

• Option List

• Global List

• Lookup List

(if you are populating data with a lookup mapping, it will not work with a memory field)
